You step across the threshold of the cottage into a small entryway, the heavy wooden door closing behind you. Dust floats in the golden light flickering off an oil lamp. The air is thick with the soul warming scent of old books, candle wax, dried herbs, and something else you can't quite place. Something like memory. Like home.
You feel it before you see it...you are no longer alone. A woman’s form appears in the dimly lit hall, her face veiled in the shadow of an oversized green hood. Beneath the cloak, she wears a richly woven dress, layered with antique gold chains and pendants that glint softly in the dim light. Her copper colored hair spills from the edges of her hood, untamed as a flame. Upon her shoulder, a crow perches in perfect stillness, its dark eyes locked on yours with ancient recognition.
She introduces herself simply as “The Oracle,” and though you cannot see it, you sense a smile in her voice. She tells you that before you can begin, you must first meet the others who will walk this journey with you.
You follow her into an ethereal room lit by star lanterns and globes hanging from a hand painted star map ceiling. It smells of pine, parchment, and salty sea air. You follow the Oracle through sail-like drapes, past piles of maps, compasses, and otherworldly celestial gadgets, to a small scroll desk. A wax-sealed envelope is perched against an ink bottle: “To the one who must remember.” Inside, it simply reads:
“Meet me in the Star Tower.”

The Oracle stands at the base of a golden winding staircase tucked into the corner of the room. Without a word, she gestures for you to begin your ascent. Each step spirals upward, and the walls around you slowly dissolve into shadow. Distant stars begin to pierce the darkness, as if you are climbing through the cosmos itself. A soft glow beckons from above as you finally reach the top.
You step into a glass domed atrium, the infinite night sky unfurling in every direction around you. Candles and tea lights bathe the circular room in warmth. In the center, a sea of satin pillows surrounds a small table; a flat stone slab balanced on the wings of four carved owls. Its smooth marble surface glows with the etching of a constellation; one you've never seen, and yet it feels achingly familiar.
Atop the table rests an ornate wooden box, with a handwritten note that reads:
Welcome home. This gift is for you. Love, True North.
You open the box carefully. Nestled in silk are five sacred objects: a compass, a feather, a key, a ribbon, and a raw crystal. One by one, you lay them down upon the etched constellation. Something stirs within, as if your inner constellation is awakening. The Oracle appears again, still shadowed.
“Are you ready to meet your True North?”

you are now ready to enter your first guided meditation. find a quiet place to lie down, uncrossed and unguarded. let your breath deepen. your body soften. when you feel ready, choose one of the gifts from your box below. which one calls to you most? After your meditation, be sure to write down all details that you can remember, including which of these gifts you chose.
